Cricket found its way from the Midwest, USA  and Ontario, Canada and flourished since 1960s with the Caribbean Cricket Club , later  Michigan Cricket Club  and later Detroit Cricket Club to complete a new beginning in year 2000.

The development went so high in 2005-06 when Galaxy Recreation headquartered in Pontiac, Michigan under the leadership of Our beloved Chairman Dr Krishnanpillai Thavarajah , Our Founding Honorary Secretary Mr Sankar Renganathan and Our Treasurer Mr. Ramesha Bhatta  introduced bowling machine and youth cricket in Murphy park, Pontiac, Michigan to scale cricket to greater heights.
